About Kedrick Scribner Foundation
The Kedrick Scribner Foundation (KSF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting widows and orphans of fallen Nigerian Police officers through empowerment programs, education, vocational training, and essential relief efforts. Our mission is to uplift lives through compassion, advocacy, and tangible support.

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our online presence, ensuring our message reaches and engages a global audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with KSF’s mission and campaigns.
  • Manage KSF’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok), ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Create engaging, informative, and inspiring content, including graphics, videos, captions, and stories.
  • Plan and schedule content using social media management tools.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth.
  • Track analytics to measure performance and optimize content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote fundraising initiatives, events, and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and nonprofit digital marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (preferably in the nonprofit sector).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for humanitarian work and community impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising or nonprofit digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of SEO and paid advertising strategies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or Hootsuite.

Volunteer Roles Available

  • Event Support – Assist in organizing Widow’s Mite events, distributing relief packages, and engaging with beneficiaries.
  • Social Media & Content Creation – Help manage our online presence, create engaging content, and share impactful stories.
  • Fundraising & Partnerships – Support fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Administrative Support – Assist with emails, coordination, and documentation.
  • Photography & Videography – Capture moments from KSF events and activities.
  • Community Engagement – Serve as a liaison between the foundation and beneficiaries, helping to identify needs and provide support.
